Richard Hogben

Richard is a computer programmer and communications expert. His qualifications include a degree in physics, a diploma in Spanish, and a certificate in programming FORTRAN.
Prior to joining the Met Office he taught science to teenagers in Zimbabwe and did statistical analysis for a Government agency in London.
In recent years he has worked on the development and support of the Met Office’s web applications. He is looking forward to using his creative skills in the Informatics Lab.
